Biostar TA890GXE motherboard is an AMD motherboard based on AMD 890GX/SB850 chipset with microATX form-factor motherboard so it can fit into nearly any case. Biostar TA890GXE motherboard is compatible with any socket AM3 processor, so it's possible to install an entry level socket AM3 Sempron or a six-core Phenom II X6 1090T processor. Like another socket AM3 motherboards, Biostar TA890GXE has built-in Radeon HD 4290 and only supports DDR3 memory module with four memory DIMMs that support up to 16GB of DDR3-800/1066/1333/1600(OC) RAM module.
